The Things that 'Parade' Star Howard McGillin Can't Perform Without
Christopher Ehlers READ TIME: 7 MIN.
Best known for his record-setting run as the titular opera ghost in Broadway's "The Phantom of the Opera"–he performed it 2,544 times–legendary leading man Howard McGillin is currently appearing in the acclaimed revival of "Parade," up for six Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical.
Tony nominated for his performances in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" and "Anything Goes," McGillin plays Judge Roan, who presided over the infamous murder trial of Leo Frank, played by Ben Platt in this production.
Here are the things Howard McGillin can't perform without:
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
"Well, I must have my Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream for after the show. I slather it on. I'm constantly putting on and ripping off fake facial hair during the course of the show, so I desperately need to counter some of the wear and tear on my delicate not-so-baby skin!" $38, Kiehl's.
Kiehl's Lip Balm #1
"This is constantly in use for me." $12, Kiehl's.
Shampoo & Conditioner
"I love Aussie Miracle Volume Conditioner for my hair, and Tresemmé Dry Shampoo for styling my very fine, not-so-voluminous hair."
Aussie Miracle Volume Conditioner with Plum & Bamboo
$8.49, Target.
Tresemmé Volume Clean Dry Shampoo
$8.59, Target.
"Parade" plays through Aug. 6 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, 242 W. 45th St., New York. Tickets and more information here.
