Of course our EDGE readers know better than to let their skin get all papery and cracked during those gray winter months. But just in case, here are five more tips to help you hold on till spring...

1. Avoid using harsh soap and instead wash with a creamy cleanser to remove makeup, dirt and oil without stripping skin of precious oils that bond water to the cells. Always use tepid water and a soft wash cloth to remove cleansers.

2. Balancing the skin's pH after cleansing hydrates and prepares skin for corrective treatments. Apply Toner with to a damp cotton pad in the evening. In the morning, spray the toner directly on the face and neck before moisturizing for a deep hydration.

3. Cosmeceutical ingredients treat and hydrate skin. Proteins bond nutrient rich water to the skin's cells and provide the first layer of hydration and protection.

4. Treat delicate eye area with special care. Heavy duty eye creams are a good choice for preventing premature aging. Always apply eye treatment morning and evening to the outer corners of the eye area pressing and rolling inward. You can also apply your eye cream to your lips for added moisture.

5. Layering serums and eye treatment is essential for skin protection. Properly hydrating skin protects against environmental aggressions and softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
