Madagascar (Widescreen Edition)
Jason Salzenstein READ TIME: 1 MIN.
With the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith, Madagascar tells the story of four animals from the New York Central Park Zoo who find themselves shipwrecked on the island of Madagascar.
Stranded, the "native New Yorkers" ? Alex the Lion (Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Rock), Melman the Giraffe (Schwimmer) and Gloria the Hippo (Pinkett Smith) must figure out how to survive in the wild and discover the true meaning of the phrase "It's a jungle out there."
With influences from the 1930?s and 40?s,? Madagascar? is DreamWorks at its best. If you liked Shrek or Shark Tale (or your kids did), then it?s sure to be a hit. Never to heavy (but still full of jokes meant for parents in the audience), it?s got some good lessons, fun times and great entertainment.
