The Queen of Pop has an appreciative message for the queer community this Pride Month: She's a champion of acceptance, and she's going to stay that way.

"In a touching message shared to her Instagram on Thursday (June 6), Madonna paid tribute to the queer community and thanked them for their ceaseless support of her career," Billboard reported.

"In a short video, Madge interspersed clips of herself performing during her 'Truth or Dare' era with photos of Pride marches and protests around the world, while a stripped-back instrumental from her anthem 'Vogue' plays in the background," the music magazine went on to note.

Among the images: A picture of pioneering trans equality activist Marsha P. Johnson; images of police beating protestors; and two men engaged in a long and passionate kiss.

Declaring herself "I am forever grateful to the gay community that has always supported me from day one," Madge recalled coming to New York in 1979, where, she wrote, the gay community "made an awkward girl from Michigan feel like she fit in, like she wasn't a freak and. That it was OK to be different.

"I am forever indebted," the "Lucky Star" singer continued in her post. "In this increasingly chaotic world, we are living in. I will never stop fighting for diversity, inclusiveness and equal rights for all!!!"

Madonna's fans smothered her with love in response to the post.

"We gays love you and thank you for fighting for us when it wasn't the cool thing to do," one person posted in the comments. "You fought for us not caring if it affected your career or your reputation. You are our queen. You are the reason we have rights. We are forever in debt to you. Love you ❤️".

Seconded another, "You stood up for us when no body else would, we are forever grateful ❤️🏳️‍🌈👑".

Noted a third, "You and Christina Aguilera are 2 of the singers to speak on gay people and represent gays and trans in your music videos Beautiful and Vogue are 2 biggest anthems for the LGBTQ+ community we appreciate you both gay icons!"

Still another offered thanks to the Material Girl "for being there hand in hand with LGBT community."

Madonna mentioned her 1991 documentary "Truth or Dare" in the post, and fans picked up on that as well.

"This film gave me so much light and joy when I was a teenager," one response read. " t was the only place where I could two men kissing being celebrated ! Thanks for giving me so much strength in a moment I was trying to assume who I was and what I felt ."
