Billy Porter's Divorce Gets Ugly over a Dog

Somebody check up on Billy Porter because he seems definitely NOT alright, and now everything seems to point to his increasingly bitter separation from his estranged husband Adam Smith.

Back in August, Porter slammed Vogue's editorial team for putting Harry Styles on the magazine's cover in a dress.

Porter claimed that Styles only got the cover because he is "white and he's straight." He also slammed the magazine because he, and other queer icons, have been wearing dresses for years to no credit for their boundary-pushing fashion choices. So upset was Porter that he even called Vogue high priestess Anna Wintour a "b***ch" for using the queer community.

It all seemed very personal. Then Porter went on a warmly received music tour before the SAG-AFTRA strike hit and forced many performers to cut their promotional gigs and income short.

Porter was quoted saying that he needed to sell his house in a rant directed against the Hollywood execs who were holding up negotiations. And now Porter seems to be dividing up the assets of his assets for a divorce.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Porter and Smith are now battling over their beloved dog, a mini cockapoo named Lola.

Porter claims that Smith is not letting him see the dog and has even changed its name. But Smith's lawyers claimed that the dog indeed belongs to their client and only their client.

Porter reportedly wants a visitation schedule set for the dog, and when the Mail reached out for comment about these allegations, Porter's team replied: "Seriously? Aren't there more important things you could be writing about?"

Let us all hope that Porter and Smith can put this all behind them quickly so Porter can get back to doing what he does best: entertainment.
