After not being able to make a cameo in the box office behemoth, "Barbie," Timothée Chalamet reportedly caught a serious case of FOMO, said director Greta Gerwig.

As reported by Variety, Gerwig during an interview with Hollywood First that Chalamet visited the London set of "Barbie" and was gutted. And the "Wonka" star lamented, "I should have been in this."

According to Gerwig, she attempted to get both of her "Lady Bird" and "Little Women" stars Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan in "Barbie" for cameos appearances, but they both couldn't do it due to scheduling conflicts.

"Although Timothée did come by the set and then said, 'I should have been in this,'" Gerwig explained. "And I was like, 'I know! Why aren't you in this?'"

She added, "I was so annoyed. But I love them so much. But it felt like doing something without my children. I mean, I'm not their mom, but I sort of feel like their mom."

Further almost "Barbie" castings reportedly included "Saturday Night Live" star Bowen Yang, "Schitt's Creek" Emmy winner Dan Levy and "Dear Evan Hansen" star Ben Platt– all in the running to play versions of Ken but scheduling conflicts prevented them from being casted.
