Sandra Bernhard to Host Gay Porn Award Ceremony in NYC

Gay porn will be getting a sapphic spin next month in New York City when famed lesbian comedian Sandra Bernhard takes to the boards of Stage 48 with talent from gay porn mainstays Sean Cody and BelAmi at the Str8UpGayPorn Awards.

According to press notes, Bernhard will be performing host honors for the gay porn website's inaugural awards event, honoring outstanding achievement in gay adult video. The event, which is presented by Pornhub, will take place on Thursday, June 22, at Stage 48 (605 West 48th Street) in New York City.

"Sometimes you just get lucky, and someone says, 'hey, do you want to put yourself out on a limb and go crazy?' No one will be the wiser, and you might end up falling in love, hence, me hosting the Str8UpGayPorn Awards. Yes, it's so right!" said Bernhard about her hosting the event.

Seventeen categories spotlighting the very best gay adult film nominees will be recognized at the Str8UpGayPorn Awards on June 22, and winners will be solely determined by a carefully selected group of esteemed judges from the world of gay media and gay adult-and even the fans themselves. Awards will be handed out to the year's Best Performer, Best Feature, Best Studio, and many more from unique categories that only Str8UpGayPorn could concoct.

Tickets are a hefty $75 to $120, but include an open bar and hors d'oeuvres.
