Welcome to EDGE's New Music Friday, our guide to the best singles and albums released every week! This quiet week brings us new releases from Elton John and Charlie Puth, Coldplay and BTS, Alessia Cara and more.

Elton John, Charlie Puth - "After All"

Elton John is sharing another cut from his forthcoming collaborative album "The Lockdown Sessions," previously releasing "Cold Heart" with Dua Lipa. On "After All," the legendary out pop star links up with singer Charlie Puth on a power ballad accompanied by a lovely orchestra that highlights its emotional pull. "With 'After All' Charlie and I were in the studio, just the two of us. He's got a little home set-up with his keyboards, synths, and Pro Tools," John said in a statement. "I played electric piano and actually wrote the song all the way through and then Charlie wrote the lyrics pretty quickly. He's incredibly quick, Charlie. We just had an amazing chemistry in the studio."

Coldplay, BTS - "My Universe"

Coldplay and BTS have collaborated on a new song called "My Universe," which will be on the British rock band's upcoming album "Music for the Spheres" next month. Co-written and produced by Max Martin, the track features the two groups singing in English and Korean.

Alessia Cara - "In The Meantime"

Canadian singer Alessia Cara released her third album "In the Meantime" this week. The 18-track LP features her previously released singles "Shapeshifter" and "Sweet Dream."

Let's Eat Grandma - "Hall of Mirrors"

The British duo Let's Eat Grandma (Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth) return with their first new song in three years. "Hall of Mirrors" is a euphoric bop. Speaking on BBC Radio 1, Walton described the song: "I wanted to use the setting of a fairground at night to describe the dizziness, intensity and excitement of being with a woman I had strong feelings for, and the hall of mirrors as a metaphor for discovering and exploring parts of myself that I was bringing to life."

Latto - "Big Energy"

Rapper Latto dropped "Big Energy," a banger that samples Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" (but many will likely know that sample via Mariah Carey's "Fantasy." It's a fun song that we wish was released earlier in the summer.
