On Thursday, Andrew Lloyd Webber participated in a University of Oxford trial and received an experimental coronavirus vaccine.

The Daily Mail reports that the legendary musical theater composer shared a photo on twitter, masked and receiving an injection of the vaccine:

The day before taking part in the trial, the composer tweeted his enthusiasm at being able to help both the worlds of science and theater:

Earlier in the week, EDGE reported that the Oxford trial is in partnership with pharmaceuticals company AstraZeneca, which are currently developing the experimental vaccine. According to the Daily Mail, thousands in the UK, North and South America have taken part in a clinical trial, and will expand to thousands more volunteers.
