The nation's largest circuit party set in Palm Springs, which had been rescheduled for October from last April, has been pushed back to next April.

The event founder and promoter Jeffrey Sanker posted the change on the event's website:

"With the unpredictable changes in health guidelines surrounding COVID-19 which we respect and are taking seriously, my biggest concern is the safety of our attendees and the people of Palm Springs. Please know that we have tried everything in our power to try to produce our event with all safety measures in place, but unfortunately it's just not possible to move forward, given the unpredictability of COVID-19. It's with great sadness that we have decided to postpone this year's White Party festival. We've been producing White Party for over 30 years now and it's not possible to deliver the full White Party experience you all deserve. We want to thank our guests for understanding and being so patient with us during this time.

"All current ticket holders will have their passes automatically transferred to our 2021 festival taking place April 23rd to 26th.

"We will miss you this year, but look forward to seeing you in 2021.

"Please be safe and take care of yourself."

According the the event's website, "Sanker is the founder of LA-based White Party Entertainment, Inc. and creator of such signature events as White Party Palm Springs; New Year's Eve celebrations in Los Angeles, Miami & Rio de Janeiro and the One Mighty Party at Orlando's Gay Days.

"Sanker has been credited by the Miami Herald as being "the father of the modern gay event party." Nowhere is this more evident than with Sanker's trademark extravaganza: White Party Palm Springs, which has evolved into the nation's largest gay dance music festival, attracting more than 30,000 attendees from every corner of the globe."
