Watch: Is Maluma the Break-Out Star of New J Lo's Rom-Com?
The Jennifer Lopez-helmed rom-com "Marry Me" is set to drop on Valentine's Day but its trailer went viral last week.
"Marry Me" follows the story of the famous singer Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez), who marries a complete stranger (Owen Wilson) in front of millions of people after discovering that the handsome Bastian (Maluma) has been unfaithful to her.
"The clip then shows Kat and her new love navigate their whirlwind romance. It also features a new song featured in the movie and soundtrack," writes Entertainment Weekly.
For Maluma, the film marks the 27-year-old superstar's acting debut.
"Back in May, Maluma told ET that he did have acting aspirations, but was waiting for the right role to get started in Hollywood.
"I would love to [act]. It's just that everything comes at its moment," he said. "Then, with God's help, I will look for opportunities to act. But if I do it, I would want to do something big. To do something in Hollywood, something that represents a big movement. At the moment, I'm focused on my musical career."
He added: "It's been such an amazing experience also working, doing music. I mean we never stop," he said. "Being right now in New York City and taking a little break to try and enjoy Halloween is important for me too."
He also recently shared a video of himself clowning around while brushing his teeth, making the most routine events sexy.
