Post Britney's Freedom, Sam Asghari Gets Renewed Attention

Saturday November 13, 2021

Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari said to all with one word on Instagram.

"Freedom" is spelled in all caps in white against a pink background.

"History was made today. Britney is Free!" he wrote, followed by a heart emoji.

Tweets began circulating of Asghari post-hearing wearing a #ATFREEBRITNEY t-shirt. He had previously worn it on June 23 for a hearing.

"Ashghari, 27, a personal trainer and model, was seen leaving Chase bank in West Hollywood, California, yesterday after his long-time girlfriend and pop superstar Spears, 39, was finally freed of her 13-year conservatorship," reports the Daily Mail.

"Ashghari, who has been dating the pop star since 2016, celebrated the end of her conservatorship with an 'Ohh ra!' as he climbed into his Jeep Wrangler."

Ashghari became engaged to Spears two months back when she posted a video of her giant sparkler on Instagram with the caption: 'I can't f**king believe it!!!!!!'

They have been a couple since 2016 when they met on the set of the video "Slumber Party."

"The pair are now able to try for a baby - something Spears has been vocal about - following the end of the conservatorship," adds the Daily Mail. In June, Spears told the court, "I want to be able to get married and have a baby."

In addition, her conservators no longer dictate when the star can and cannot see her teenage sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, whom she had with ex-husband Kevin Federline. He had full custody of their boys when Spears lost custody in 2008 over health issues.

With the mainstream media focusing on Britney Spears' legal issues, it is not surprising to see attention now on her fiancé Sam Asghari, even a profile this weekend in the New York Times, which asks the question, "Who is Mr. Asghari?"

Despite some confusion on the interview parameters — Asghari thought there would be a video component, which was never an option by the Times, he opened up a bit. Asked about emigrating from Iran at the age of 12, he said: "To be honest with you, it wasn't hard for me at all. It was easy for me."

"Asked to identify the worst job he ever had, Mr. Asghari, who said his pre-acting work included a stint at Best Buy and rolling sushi for quinceañeras, said each job was as enjoyable as the last because 'I find happiness in every job.'"

is moving his career towards acting, but not just moments in front of the camera. "Acting is not necessarily just shooting TV shows and film," Mr. Asghari told the Times. "Stunt choreography, coaching, auditioning — those are part of that. So that's a full-time job." (For his own entertainment, Mr. Asghari said he watches "performances, not shows." Asked to name a performance he'd watched recently, Mr. Asghari said, "Hugh Jackman. I watch clips of him acting. Jason Statham, I watch clips of him acting.")

And he noted a recent acting appearance that if you blinked, you would have missed him. In an episode of the 2021 HBO Max series "Hacks," Asghari was credited as "Sexy Santa" in a single scene, opposite Jean Smart.
