A Maryland mother of four who decorated her front yard with a set of rainbow solar jars received a call from the un-welcome wagon when an anonymous neighbor wrote her a note threatening police action if she doesn't stop being "relentlessly gay" with her garden décor. She's now turning to crowdfunding to help make her home even gayer.

"I opened my door, and found a note from my neighbor," said Maryland resident Julie Baker. "Regarding a set of rainbow jar solar lights hanging in my yard that spell out 'Love' and 'Ohana.' They informed me that the neighborhood is 'christian' and has 'children' and asked me to stop being 'relentlessly gay."

The note, which was posted to social media reads:

Dear Resident..,

Your yard is becoming Relentlessly Gay! Myself and Others in the neighborhood ask that you Tone it Down. This is a Christian area and there are Children. Keep it up and I will be Forced to call the Police on You! Your kind need to have Respect for GOD.

A Concerned Home Owner.

Rather than give into her neighbors' demands Baker is upping the gay ante.

"Needless to say... I need more rainbows," she writes. "Many, many more rainbows..."

Baker's request for more rainbows is on a GoFundMe campaign where she's looking to for financial help as she makes her home even more "relentlessly gay."

"I am starting this fundraiser so I can work to make my Home even More 'relentlessly gay,'" Baker writes. "If we go high enough, I will see if I can get a Rainbow Roof!"

A widow and mother of four children, the youngest of which is in high school, Baker is defiant, saying she will not "relent to hatred."

"Instead," she says. "I will battle it with whimsy and beauty and laughter and love, wrapped around my home, yard and family!"

As of this writing, Baker's GoFundMe campaign has raised $565 of her targeted $5,000. She thanks all donors for their "relentless gay support, relentlessly."

Perhaps they should contact God about those rainbows he relentlessly puts up in the sky after it rains.
