Ryan Murphy teased Season 2 of his newest smash hit, "Pose," during a panel discussion on the FX show.

Revelations from Murphy and the panel included news that the show's sophomore season will commence in 1989 move forward to 1990, Deadlne reported. (Season 1's storyline went up to 1988.)

Vulture took note that 1990 was the year of Madonna's classic "Vogue" album, a connection that Murphy acknowledged. Asked whether the superstar might make an appearance on the series, Murphy indicated that he would like to keep the focus on fresh faces and continue the show's emphasis on casting trans actors. But never say never: Murphy went on to say, "I always love to talk to Madonna."

Is the Material Girl bound to strike a "Pose" for TV's most prolific openly gay content creator? Time will tell.
